Pneumoencefalografi
Pneumoencephalography (PEG) is a medical procedure that involves introducing air or another gas into the ventricular system of the brain, displacing cerebrospinal fluid and allowing for the visualization of the brain structures through X-ray imaging. This technique was commonly used in the past to diagnose various neurological conditions such as tumors, hydrocephalus, and other abnormalities within the ventricular system. However, due to its invasive nature and the availability of less invasive imaging techniques like MRI and CT scans, PEG is rarely used today.
