Hypolipidemic Agents
Hypolipidemic agents are a class of medications that are used to lower lipid levels in the blood, particularly cholesterol and triglycerides. These drugs are often prescribed to patients with high cholesterol or dyslipidemia, which is a condition characterized by abnormal levels of fats in the blood.

Peroxisomproliferatorer
Peroxisome proliferators are a group of chemical compounds that can stimulate the proliferation and increase the number of peroxisomes in the cells of various organisms, including humans. Peroxisomes are small, membrane-bound organelles found in the cytoplasm of cells that play a crucial role in several metabolic processes, such as fatty acid oxidation, reactive oxygen species detoxification, and biosynthesis of ether phospholipids.
Hypoglyciner
Fibric Acids
Fibric acids are a group of medications that are primarily used to treat dyslipidemia, a condition characterized by abnormal levels of fats in the blood. Fibric acids work by reducing the production of very low-density lipoproteins (VLDL) in the liver and increasing the clearance of low-density lipoproteins (LDL), or "bad cholesterol," from the blood. They also increase the levels of high-density lipoproteins (HDL), or "good cholesterol."

Cholestyramine Resin

Transcription Initiation, Genetic
Transcription initiation, genetic, refers to the process by which RNA polymerase and transcription factors bind to specific regions of DNA, known as promoters, to initiate the transcription of a gene into messenger RNA (mRNA). This is the first step in gene expression, where the information encoded in the DNA is used to produce a functional protein. The initiation process involves the recognition and binding of RNA polymerase and transcription factors to specific DNA sequences, unwinding of the double-stranded DNA, and the formation of the open complex, which allows for the synthesis of mRNA to begin.
PPAR alfa
Valerater
"Valerian (Valeriana officinalis) is a herb commonly used in dietary supplements for its sedative and anxiety-reducing properties. The active components, including valerenic acid, isovaleric acid, and valepotriates, are believed to interact with the GABA receptors in the brain, promoting relaxation and sleep."
Enzyminduktion
