Naftalensulfonater
Naphthalene sulfonates are a class of chemical compounds characterized by the addition of one or more sulfonic acid groups (-SO3H) to naphthalene, a polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon consisting of two benzene rings fused together. These compounds are commonly used as detergents, dyes, and industrial chemicals. A well-known example is sodium naphthalene sulfonate, which is an anionic surfactant.
