problem Soil moisture

Question

Hello,

We are a company represented by libelium here in Chile and we have a meteorological station installed in an olive field, due to this I have the following query: We have 3 Humidity sensors in 30-60-90cm depth and are not marking me, the soil is clayy, chalky. Are the sensors made for this type of floor? For what type of soil can these sensors work?

Any help will be apprecited.
