Now my husband has diharrea as well that is over 30 hrs long.  We went to the hospital but the staff there don't seem to know what it is and/or not taking me seriously.  They requested stool sample.  Since this bacteria is part of the natural Intestinal flora wont the test show a false positive and/or would a blood test be more accurate?  also how long does it take for the culture to develop om a slide?  Ps; I live in canada
