My 2 yr old tested positive for strep throat that same following day he developed hands foot mouth disease

My soon to be 2 yr old ran 103.6 fever I took him in to Dr and he tested positive for strep throat. That same following day he had blisters around mouth forehead fingers hands arm bottom legs and feet and inside mouth  he ran 103 the next day and I called his Dr and they said he probably had hfmd also. They gave him cefdiner antibiotics for strep and just said to give him baby orajel  and take Tylenol and Advil and switch them every 4 yrs. I read not to take Advil with strep cus it can cause complications. But what can I do to help him get better??
